Question
Salaam Alaikum .. Dear Shaikh, Kindly advise if the below hadeeth is AUTHENTIC, which is available at the site http://www.islamqa.com/index.php?ref=20954&ln=eng&txt=cure%20for%20evil%20eye ? Jibreel used to do ruqyah for the Prophet (SAW) and say, “Bismillaahi arqeeka min kulli shay’in yu’dheeka, min sharri kulli nafsin aw ‘aynin haasid Allaahu yashfeek, bismillaahi arqeek (In the name of Allaah I perform ruqyah for you, from everything that is harming you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye may Allaah heal you, in the name of Allaah I perform ruqyah for you).” Jazaak Allaahu Khairan
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
The narration which you mentioned in the question is authentic and it is reported by Imaam Muslim 
in the Book of As-Salaam (Salutations), Chapter of Medicine, Illnesses and Ruqyah, and it is also reported by At-Tirmithi, Ibn Maajah, Ahmad, Ibn Habbaan and others
