I would like a scientific explanation concerning on Halal, pig and alcohol. Using science, disbelievers listen to it.
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
Allah the Exalted does not prohibit any food or drink or anything else, except when if it is harmful or when its harm dominates its benefit.
Sometimes some people may know after a brief period, the reason for its prohibition, which is harm, and sometimes they may not know about it at all. Their lack of this knowledge does not mean that there is no harm in it. Allah is the Creator of all things, as He Says (what means): {Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted?} [Quran 67:14]
There are several clear reasons why liquor/wine is prohibited. We quote a few here:
1. It deteriorates the brain.
2. It rouses enmity and hatred. Allah Says (what means): {Satan wants only to excite enmity and hatred between you with intoxicants (alcoholic drinks) and gambling.} [Quran 5: 91]
3. It exhausts the strength from the body and causes several debilitating diseases.
The Head of the Institute of Psychological Disorders at the London University says: “In fact, alcohol is the only licensed poison. But, every disturbed person consumes it in plenty and it doubles his trouble. A single draught of alcohol can cause poison and lead to either hypertension or stillness. Often it leads to unconsciousness. Those who are habituated to it, face the problem of gloomy moral dissolution with madness.”
Now the question is, where is this testimony from! It is from London and through the voice of the Head of the Department of Psychological Disorders, situated in one of the world's most popular Universities. So, if this testimony is accurate, then it is enough evidence of the danger of alcohol and liquor.
