Question
Please confim this hadith... The Messenger said, ‘Some people will come on the Day of Judgment and their Imaan will be outstanding, it’s light will shine from their chests and from their right hands. It will be said to them, ‘Glad tidings to you today. As salaamu alaikum and goodness for you; enter into it (Jannah) forever. The angels and Prophets will be jealous of the love Allah has for them. The Sahaba asked, ‘Who are they Ya Rasoolullah?’ He replied, ‘They are not from you. You are mY companions but they are my beloved. They will come after you and will find the Book (Qur’an) made redundant by the people and a Sunnah which has been killed by them. So they will grab hold of the Book and the Sunnah and will revive them. They will read them and teach them (Qur’an and Sunnah) to the people and they will experience in that path a punishment (trails) more severe and more ugly than what you (Sahaba) have experienced. Indeed the Imaan of one of them is equivalent to the Imaan of forty of you. The Shaheed of one of them is equivalent to forty of your Shuhadaa. Because you found a helper towards the truth (Rasoolullah) but they will find no helper towards the truth. They will be surrounded by tyrant rulers in every place. They will be in the surroundings of Bayt ul-Maqdis (Al Quds). The Nusrah of Allah will come to them and they will have the honor of it on their hands.” Then he said, ‘O Allah give them Nusrah and make them my close friends in Jannah.” (Musnad Ahmad 17561. Chain 77. Hasan according to Ibn Hajr al-Haythami)
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
In fact, we could not find a Hadeeth with this wording in the adopted books of Sunnah – as many as they are – including the Musnad of Ahmad. However, there are other authentic Ahaadeeth supporting similar meanings.
For instance, Abu Hurayrah 
narrated that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, came to the graveyard and said: "As-Salaamu ‘alaykum daara qawmin mu'mineen, wa inna in shaa' Allaahu bikum laahiqoon (which means: Peace be upon you, abode of believing people, and we, if Allaah so wills, will join you). I love to see my brothers." They [those present] said: "Are we not your brothers, O Messenger of Allaah?" He, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "You are my companions, yet our brothers are those who have not yet come." [Muslim]
Moreover, Abu Tha‘labah Al-Khushani reported that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: “…Ahead of you are the days of patience. In those days, patience will be like holding an ember. One who performs [good] deeds among them will have the like of the reward of fifty of those who do the like of what he does.” [Al-Albaani in As-Silsillah As-Saheehah]
Al-Albaani 
commented, “The omitted parts [ellipses] of this version are weak …”
In addition, Thawbaan narrated that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "A group of my nation [the Muslims] will remain firm upon the truth and will continue to be triumphant over their enemies. He who fails to support them will not harm them, except the hardship they will experience [as a result of their striving]. They will remain in this position until the command of Allaah is executed [the Hour overtakes them]." The Companions inquired: "And where are they?" He, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "They are at the gates of Jerusalem and its surroundings."" [reported by ‘Abdullaah ibn Ahmad in Musnad Ahmad 5269]
The Hadeeth no. 17561 in Musnad Ahmad reads, “Prayer during the night should be in pairs of two Rak‘ahs which you end with reciting the Tashahhud. When one of you performs night prayer, let him recite the Tashahhud after each two Rak‘ahs, then show submissiveness and helplessness, and supplicate his Lord earnestly. If anyone fails to do that, his prayer will be imperfect and deficient.” [Ahmad]
It is worth highlighting that we should beware of attributing false reports to the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, given the gravity of such an act. Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: “Whoever (intentionally) attributes to me what I have not said, then let him occupy his seat in the Hellfire.” [Ahmad and Ibn Maajah]
