Changing intention to stop following imaam in prayer

Congregation made Sujood Tilaawah while imaam did not

Joining congregational prayer for follower who missed previous prayer
Assalaamu alaykum. I joined the prayer as the imam was saying Tasleem (closing the prayer) at the end of the Maghrib prayer. Because of rain, they combined the Maghrib and the `Ishaa'together. Should I perform the Maghrib before joining the congregation for the `Ishaa'prayer in such case?

Joining two persons praying in congregation in the last sujood

One led in prayer does not stop reciting until the Imaam bows
Sometimes the Imaam recites in a lengthy manner during inaudible prayers and I finish the recitation of Al-Faatihah and another Surah, so what should I do then? Is it permissible to recite Surahs of the Quran, after reciting Al-Faatihah in the last two Rak‘ahs (units of prayer) of the prayer, in case the Imaam prolongs the recitation?

Praying Shaf' behind an Imaam who prays Witr with three consecutive Rak‘ahs
The Imaam prayed Shaf‘ and Witr‘ as three consecutive Rak‘ahs (units of prayer) like the Maghrib prayer. A latecomer standing to make up what he missed of the prayer before the Imaam's the second Tasleem
If the Imaam makes Tasleem (saying: Assalamu ‘Alaykum) at the end of prayer, and I still have to make up one Rak‘ah (unit of prayer) or more; when should I stand to offer the part of the prayer that I missed?
