Question
Assalamu alaikum.Can Eid be celebrated on Dul Haj 11 and 12 also?Can you give proof from Fiqh?Was Salaam.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
It is a part of the Islamic practice to celebrate the days of Tashreeq which are the 11th, 12th and 13th days of Thul-Hijjah as they are among the days of 'Eed because the Prophet 
said: "The day of 'Arafah, the day of 'Eed (the day of offering the sacrifice) and the 11th, 12th and 13th day of Thul-Hijjah are all days of 'Eed for us Muslims, and they are days of eating and drinking." [Ahmad, An-Nasaa'ee, Abu Daawood, and At-Tirmithi] Therefore, the day of 'Eed is not only the day of offering the sacrifice which is the 10th of Thul-Hijjah, rather all the days of Tashreeq are days of 'Eed.
As a matter of fact, Ash-Shawkaani 
said: 'This narration is evidence that the days of Tashreeq which come after the day of sacrifice are all days of 'Eed.'
In addition, among the evidences of the permissibility of displaying happiness and joy on the days of Tashreeq is what Al-Bukhari reported that 'Aa'ishah, may Allaah be pleased her, said: "Abu Bakr 
entered my home and found two young female slaves belonging to the Ansaar (i.e. residents of Madeenah) singing with the poetry the Ansaar said on the day of Bu'aath (a battle). The two young girls were not professional singers. Abu Bakr said: "The pipes of Satan (is played) in the house of the messenger of Allaah ?" It was an 'Eed day. Thereupon the Prophet said: "O Abu Bakr each people have a day to celebrate and today is our 'Eed day."
Therefore, this is evidence that it is permissible to celebrate the days when the pilgrims are in Minaa, and that these days are among the days of 'Eed.
Finally, it should be noted that it is permissible to display happiness and joy during these days and other days with what is permissible, but one should be cautious against the violations of Islamic Law that some people commit during these days.
