Fatwa CenterTalking about other women to arouse her husband sexually
Question
I am married to a Muslim and have children. My main problem is that my husband is really unable to perform sexually unless we talk about other women or describe some sexual scenes while talking. I always feel very guilty doing this and have done Tawbah many times. I have tried many times to avoid this but I always go back after a while because I feel that we start getting apart in our daily relationship and I am worried he might avoid going with me because he doesn't get the pleasure he wants. I really repent my doing this and have told him over and over but he says that it is better than him going in Haraam. Please advise.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
If what you meant is mentioning some matters about your own sexual relation which incites his sexual desires and which does not lead to any forbidden act, like being attached to a particular woman and the like, then this is permissible between the husband and his wife. However, if what is meant is describing a particular woman and the like, then this is forbidden as this is a means of being tempted and being attached to this woman.
