Fatwa CenterHer 15 year-old daughter wants her to breastfeed her
Question
I wanted to know that, whenever I Ghusl my 15 year's old daughter use to ask me that. I want to see how do you Ghusl and she also ask my breast milk when I use to breast feed her brother, that my little son. Am I allowed to show her how I Ghusl. And am I allow to breast feed her for little while. Please answer me.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
If your daughter means that she wants to see you while you are having a ritual bath, i.e. when you are naked, then this is not permissible, and it is not permissible for you to accept her request, especially that she is pubescent. The Prophet 
said: "A woman should not look at the 'Awrah (parts of the body that must be covered in Islam) of another woman." [Ahmad] Please refer to Fatwa 84062 on the 'Awrah of a mother in front of her daughter.
As a mother, you could teach your daughter by explaining to her how to perform a ritual bath correctly without you exposing your 'Awrah.
As regards breastfeeding her, in principle we do not see any harm in this, but you should not spoil her to an extent that could lead to what is prohibited. Spoiling beyond the limits harms and ruins the child more than it benefits him.
