Question
A Muslim sitting in the Masjid (Mosque) with feet pointing in the direction of Ka'bah (Bait-u-Allaah) or pointing to the Quran lying in front -Is it not disrespect to both Holiest objects?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
We have already issued Fatwa 82233 clarifying the ruling of putting the feet in the direction of the Qiblah, so please refer to it.
As for stretching one's legs towards the Quran, then the Muslim scholars disliked it.
Kashaaf Al-Qinaa', which is one of the books of the Hanbali School of jurisprudence, reads: "Stretching (or extending) one's legs towards the Quran is dislikeable; the same ruling applies to turning one's back to it and stepping over it."
However, this dislikeability is if the Quran is near the person's feet, but if it is far, then it is not disliked.
The Hindu Fataawa reads: "Stretching one's legs towards the Quran is not disliked if it is not opposite to the person."
In fact, a Muslim must respect the Quran. Pointing one's legs toward the Quran is contrary to its respect, hence one should avoid it.
