Question
I have a sexual problem, premature ejaculation, and I'm 28-years-old, I don't know what Islam says about this situation, and I did want to doctors but they ask me to get medicine that it will be good to use only the time when I be with a lady, or I do it by myself, and I cannot get married at this time, because I don't know if I will be fine or not Inshaa Allaah, and I cannot do Haraam things like being with a woman in Haraam or doing Al-Add Shariah, what I have to do?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
Allaah the Most High has urged us to get married and whoever is keen to get married and is financially solvent (can meet the financial obligations of marriage) should marry. As regards premature ejaculation, it is not an obstacle for marriage especially that the doctors have found a medicine for it. Therefore, we advise the brother asking the question to get married and not consider premature ejaculation as a hindrance in getting married. We ask Allaah to cure you from whatever you dislike. With regard to masturbation, it is forbidden and its ruling is discussed in Fatwa: 81150.
