I would like to thank you so much for this website to help all the human being all over the world. My question is our Imaam of Friday Prayer (Jumu'a Prayer) does not use something to sit down when he is having a rest and doing Du'aa between the first part of the speech and the second part. So is it obligation that he should use even chair to seat for a while to do seeking between the speech parts, or it does not matter whether he uses a chair or not? Your Consideration is to reply me as soon as possible.
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
The pause between the two Friday speeches is a Sunnah and not an obligation. But it is more correct for the Imaam to sit between the two speeches on a chair or on his feet. However, there is no harm if he did not sit down between the two speeches. His prayer is correct and the prayer of those led by him is also correct.
Allaah knows best.
