Question
What are your views about Maulana Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Brelawi of India? And do you think he followed and preached Islam properly. I would appreciate your reply.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
Anyone who looks into the beliefs and behaviors of the Barelvi sect which was founded by Ahmad Ridha Khan, will find out how far away this sect is from the true Islam. This sect was declared a non-Muslim sect by the scholars of Islam.
Shaykh Ihsan Ilahi Zahiri gave a comprehensive account about this sect in his book: Barelvi Beliefs and History.
