Fatwa CenterImpregnated a Woman Through Zina and She Wants an Abortion
Question
I'm living with a woman without marriage and she is pregnant now. What can I do to be close to God again and she wants to have an operation because she doesn't want the child. How can I solve this problem?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
Living with a woman without marriage is a grave major sin. So, you should immediately repent to Allah from this sin. A sincere repentance consists of three conditions: (a) immediately giving up the sin, (b) feeling deep sorrow for what happened, (c) and taking a firm decision not to commit the sin again. If your repentance meets the above conditions Allah will forgive you.
Allah Says (what means):
• {Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.} [Quran 25: 70]
• {Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”} [Quran 39:53]
On the other hand, abortion of the fetus that happens due to illegal sexual intercourse is forbidden. It is a sin in addition to the sin of Zina. The solution to your problem is to leave this woman, keep away from her and cut off all relations with her. You do not have any legal relation to this pregnancy.
