"For each [person] there are angels in succession, before and behind him, they guard him by the Command of Allah" [13: 11]. As I think Angels are more powerful than Shaitan then why Angels are not protecting us from Shaitan (Satan) who always try to keep us on the wrong path.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
There is no doubt about what is mentioned in the verse. al-Bukhari reported from Abu Hurairah that "Allah's Apostle said, (A group of) angels stay with you at night and (another group of) angels by daytime, and both groups gather at the time of the 'Asr and Fajr prayers. Then those angels who have stayed with you overnight, ascend (to Heaven) and Allah asks them (about you)--and He knows everything about you. 'In what state did you leave My slaves?' The angels reply, 'When we left them, they were praying, and when we reached them they were praying'" .
This guarding is by the Command of Allah and through The Orders of Allah and by the Will of Allah. In fact, everybody has some Angels who guard him from having a wall fall on him or being hit by a dangerous thing or being devoured by a beast. But, if the destiny comes Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {… But when Allâh wills a people's punishment, there can be no turning back of it, and they will find besides Him no protector.} [13: 11].
As for Satan, Allah Says about it (interpretation of meaning): {"Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves, except those who follow you of the Ghâwîn (Mushrikûn and those who go astray, criminals, polytheists, and evil-doers, etc.).} [15: 42].
This means that if the person accepts the whispers and insinuations of Satan, he will not be one of those whom Allah describes by Saying: {Verily, those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious), when an evil thought comes to them from Shaitân (Satan), they remember (Allâh), and (indeed) they then see (aright).} [7: 201].
Allah knows best.
