Question
A person died leaving two widows, one daughter and three sons. If he left 100 dollar, what will be the amount each heir gets out of these 100 dollar?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
The share of the two wives in the above case is one-eighth of the inheritance and it should be distributed equally between them. The remaining inheritance will be distributed among three sons and the daughter; the male would take double the share of the female; i.e., the inheritance would be divided into seven portions; every son will take two portions and the daughter will take one portion.
