Sometimes I feel water is coming out of my private part ((Dhakar)) while I'm praying. I used to leave the prayer and make Wudu. But I noticed that there is nothing and I was only feeling that. Now I keep on praying without making Wudu. Am I suppose to go after my doubts and make Wudu or should I keep praying?
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
Many people suffer from suspicions regarding the matter of being clean from urine. It is known to the knowledgeable person that the penis is similar to an udder full of milk; if one milks it flows; otherwise, it remains in place. Thus, whenever a Muslim strongly believes after answering his call of nature that he has relieved and wants to clean himself from urine, then he should wash his organ (penis) and make Wudu if it is time of prayer. After that, he should not pay any attention to the presumptions that something might have come out until he is certain that something has actually come out.
It is not compulsory for one to renew his Wudu based on his suspicions. The basis for this ruling is the Hadith of Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mazini that a person came to the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) and queried him about a person who feels something in his abdomen while praying. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "He should not leave them (the prayers) until he hears it or smells it" , i.e. to hear breaking wind or to smell gas.
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) taught him to act according to certainty, neglecting the suspicions. This is a general rule that applies to all other matters too.
Allah knows best.
