Question
Is sucking a wife's breast Halal or not?
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
A husband can enjoy sex with his wife as he likes, but he must avoid having sex in her anus and during her menstruation period. Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {They ask you concerning menstruation. Say: that is an Adha (a harmful thing for a husband to have a sexual intercourse with his wife while she is having her menses), therefore keep away from women during menses and go not unto them till they have purified (from menses and have taken a bath). …}[2:222].
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "Cursed is any man who has anal intercourse with his wife". [Ahmad, Abu Dawood and al-Nasaee]
Therefore, it is permissible to do what was asked about. In the case of drinking the wife's milk, it has no effect on the marital life. The majority of the Muslim scholars are of the opinion that drinking by an older person, i.e. after the age of two years does not change any rule. Even though it is safer to avoid such practice.
