Question
If I'm pregnant for only 10 days, is it prohibited in our holy religion to do miscarriage (abortion) because my life with my husband isn't stable?
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
Dear Sister, you are not permitted to abort your fetus based upon your saying your life is not stable. This matter would not be a valid reason in Shariah to be rid of your pregnancy, rather it is a transgression against a fetus that neither committed a sin nor caused any problem to make your life what it is.
