Fatwa CenterTook a usurious loan and doesn't have peace of mind
Question
I have taken a loan on which I am paying interest. The circumstances were and are such that I have to go for loans, due to which I don't have peace of mind. Show me the way to come out of this.
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
You should repent to Allah, The Almighty from all you have done so far. Be sorry for what you have done.
If you are not able to pay more than the initial amount do that.
If you could find someone who could give you a usury-free loan in order to pay back this usury loan that would be better for you.
