There's a Muslim saw Allah in their dream in His light form. Does it mean that Muslim is religious?
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
Seeing Allah the Almighty in a dream is possible. An-Nawawi said when explaining the book of Imaam Muslim, that Al-Qaadhi ‘Iyaadh said: "The scholars have agreed that it is possible to see Allah the Almighty in a dream, and that the dream would be true." [End of quote]
So if one sees Allah in a dream, then we would think good of him (i.e., he is religious), but we cannot confirm that he is inwardly upright.
A dream could include things to wake the person from his heedlessness, as Al-Baghawi stated in his book Sharh As-Sunnah conveying the words of one of the scholars: "If one see Him (Allah) in a dream looking at him, then this reflects His mercy, and if he see Him turning away from him, then it is a warning for one to shun sins." [End of quote]
Allah knows best.
