Fatwa CenterProtecting the Youth from Widespread Immorality
Question
There are many videos in the internet,which shows beautiful girls being gagged and tied up and kidnapped, and I have read that the west use these tactics to arouse sexual desires.They also do such acts in real life,for sexual pleasure.Many youths are addicted to these videos and cannot leave them,and also they cannot marry.Day by day their sexual desires is increasing,and they are in the way to zina.It's true that such videos increase the sexual desires and makes them addicted and also destroys the brain,so they lose in study and other things,the situation of these youths is getting worse. What should we do to stop such western plots,and save the youths from these plots ? please answer as soon as possible with clarity.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
This is not the only evil way by which the human devils as well the jinn try to tempt the young people –the Muslims among them in particular –and to fuel their sexual desires so that immorality spreads amongst them. Consequently, those youth will fall prey to the enemies and there will be no good in them for their nation and religion.
Allah Says (what means): {And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy - devils from mankind and jinn, inspiring to one another decorative speech in delusion. But if your Lord had willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and that which they invent.} [Quran 6:112]
Allah also Says (what means): {Allah wants to accept your repentance, but those who follow [their] passions want you to digress [into] a great deviation.} [Quran 4:27]
Protecting those young people from such a thing is a duty upon the Muslim nation, especially its rulers and scholars. Among the means that can be used in this regard is the following:
1- Disseminating useful knowledge from the Quran and Sunnah. It is with such knowledge that the hearts are revived, the thought is enlightened, and the Muslim is aware of his matter. Allah Says (what means): {There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book. By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path.} [Quran 5:14-15]
2- These young people should have a good example and good morals to follow, such as humbleness, and looking after their conditions and being concerned about what would benefit them, especially the role models in the scholars of the nation and its Da'iyah (callers to Islam, preachers). This has a great influence on the youth in making their hearts attached to them, and them being keen on being close to the scholars. Indeed, we have a good example in the Prophet about whom Allah Says (what means): {So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].} [Quran 3: 159]
3- Setting up cultural centers and institutions where they can find what satisfies their desires and where they can use their energy in permissible entertainment, such as sports, for example. This will attract them and make them feel comfortable. These means are among the appropriate Islamic alternatives instead of institutions based on forbidden entertainment or occupying them with what is of no benefit.
4- Finding appropriate alternatives of purposeful films that include a clean content that is intended to achieve certain goals and deliver appropriate messages, through which the biography of the Prophet may be broadcasted as well the history of his Companions and the righteous people of this nation.
5- Is it more appropriate in all this that some righteous youth who are close to them be at their leadership; this is more proper to bring them together in harmony. But it is good that the general administration be run by the elders so that the wisdom of the elderly will be combined with the energy and enthusiasm of the youth. This is one of the greatest reasons for success. In doing so, one should always seek the help of Allah and work for His only Sake.
