Question
Assalaamu alaykum. Seven years ago, a 20-year-old raped a 10-year-old child. He regrets that now and wants to clear himself of this wrong in front of Allaah. What should he do?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
This young man should sincerely repent of this heinous act. He must fulfill the conditions of repentance which have been clarified in fatwa 86527 so that his repentance be valid.
If the rape victim was a female and he deflowered her, then he must give her a dowry of the women who are in the same social status like her in addition to a compensation for making her lose her virginity because of raping her. He must give her this right [dowry and compensation], even indirectly.
