Question
Assalaamu alaykum. I have a query that I wish to get resolved; I want to make a channel on YouTube regarding the national anthem of different countries, not instrumental (because it includes music, which is not permissible) but with lyrics and the sounds of the national anthem of different countries. I also wish to monetize such videos. Is it halal for promote the national anthem of different countries? Is there anything that is not permissible about that? Please guide me in this regard.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
There is no harm in publishing and spreading anthems that do not include violations of the Islamic Sharia, on the condition that there is no transgressing of other people’s rights; otherwise, it is not permissible to do so without their permission.
That said, it is more appropriate for a Muslim to be concerned with publishing what benefits him in his religion and his worldly affairs.
