Question
Assalamu alaikum.You enquired about question no. 2291612.What I mean is since Quran and Hades are preserved in this world by making it in book form by Swahabath and that was a promise of Allah-15:9 and it was also written by Swahabath Allah be pleased with them.Now to preserve Allah’s words such a method was used another being creating Hafizs. Similairly books wriiten by man can also be preserved only by writing it and making it in book form.So can we say since Quran is written and made in book form we can take that as evidence for writing and making Islamic book by man as Islam gives much importance to writing and recording and preserving.Ofcourse Quran cannot be compared to book written by man both being entirely different but method used to preserve and spread Quran and Hades can it be taken as evidence for writing Islamic books?Any Scholar gave such a Fatwa?Is it wrong in saying as such for evidence for Islamic book writing? Jazakhallah Khair.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
Writing the Quran in lines and compiling it in one single book (the Mus'haf), as well as facilitating its memorization in the hearts of the people, all this is among the means of preserving it, as this was a promise from Allaah.
Also, memorizing the Sunnah, writing it and preserving the Hadeeth both in its wording and meaning, are among the preservation of the Quran. Indeed, preserving the expounder (the Sunnah) is a means to preseve the expounded (the Quran).
Based on this, if writing the Quran helped in preserving it or was a means of preserving it, then it is a means to preserve other sciences than it with greater reason. Hence, the inference that is mentioned in the question is correct and obvious, but we have not come across any statement of the scholars regarding this, and we do not need a text in this regard because the matter is so obvious.
