Question
What do you think of taking contraceptive pills in order to fast at the same time with everyone else?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alyhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen 
said: "I warn you against taking such pills as they are quite harmful and I have been informed of this by doctors. Women should know that this is something that Allaah The Almighty decreed for the daughters of Hawwaa’ (Eve), so they should be satisfied with what Allaah The Almighty had predestined for them and fast when they are not menstruating, then break their fast when they are."
