Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

We have already issued Fatwa 83858 clarifying that it is permissible to be treated with Chinese acupuncture provided that this is done by a specialist. As regards going to this clinic where the cross is hanged and music is played, then this is not permissible because it is forbidden for a Muslim to go to a place where evil is present without having a sound reason, like forbidding the evil. However, if you need this treatment and you do not find another place that is free from evil where you can achieve this purpose, then it is permissible for you to go to this clinic.

Indeed, you did well by listening to something permissible instead of listening to music, and it is more appropriate to listen to the Quran.

Allaah Knows best.
