is it compulsary to give a moral support to a new muslim lady a man has to marry her? can't he & his family support her in a normal way.
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
It is not compulsory for this man to marry this woman. However, she should be helped with every means that would help her remain steadfast on her religion and not be tempted [by doubting her religion or having misconceptions about it or by committing grave major sins].
Among these means of helping her is marriage. Hence, if this man is able to marry her and he is able to be just between her and his first wife – if he has one - then this is good.
However, if it is not possible for this man to marry her, then he should still help her and look for a pious husband for her in order to help her maintain and guard her chastity and protect her religion.
Allaah Knows best.
