Buying Khalooq, a perfume which contains saffron
I have read in Hadeeth that angel stay away from 3 things: Junub, drunk person and man's wear Khalooq, I am very much concern about the Khalooq because it is a perfumes that contains saffron. Use of candles
I am an American convert to Islam. And I love candles! I use scented candles in my home to create warmth and it's pleasing to my husband. Recently, a visitor said that candles are Haraam. Women wearing perfume smelled by alien men
My question is about perfume.
The prophet(s) said:" Any woman who puts on perfumes and goes pass some people to smell her perfumes, she is a Zaniah (whore)."
My question is what if the women works hard and she doesn't like to foul smelling? How about men, is it the same thing or no? And if so, please send me any proof or Hadith if there is one.

Oil of fish and oil of leech
Actually, I was wondering is it ok to use perfume that contains a small amount of alcohol such as found in markets nowadays and rub on our skin before the prayer? For the purpose of medical reason, is it ok to rub on our outer skin oil made from fish and oil from leech?.. More

Women wearing deodorant
My wife uses deodorant and go as to the university. I told her not to use it as the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) prohibited women from using perfumes and go out. She said it is not considered as perfume, only deodorant and she is allowed to use it. Is she right and is she allowed to use the deodorant and go out to her university or is it considered.. More
