Assalaamu alaykum. I have one question. When I was young, I read why Allaah says 'He' in the Quran, I learned that the reason is that there is no neutral gender in the Arabic language, and I read that we negate gender for Allaah (being male or female). A few days ago, however, I heard a sheikh say that asking about the gender of Allaah is forbidden.. More
Assalaamu alaykum Brother. I was just wondering whether Prophets were sent to polytheistic nations, and not only Messengers. I repeat, could Prophets have been sent to polytheistic nations as well, and not just Messengers?

A man got married in our family. At the marriage, the grandfather of the groom said a doubtful statementto the bride. Assalaamu alaykum. I know that stating that the Qur'an is created is kufr (disbelief). But what is the ruling on saying that one does not know whether it is created or not and declining to investigate or make a decision on the matter? Is it true that Imam Abu Hanifa refused to give a fatwa on this issue, and if so, why? May Allaah reward you.

Assalaamu alaykum. I hope it is possible to answer this question as soon as possible, because I am confused and sad. This question is so hard for me, but I need someone's help. Assalaamu alaykum Shaykh, and may Allaah be merciful to you. I have a question about kufr (disbelief). An imam who lives in Germany said that every kaafir (disbeliever) is a non-Muslim but not every non-Muslim is a kaafir. He said that a kaafir is someone who has heard about Islam WITH its evidences , REALISED the truth, and THEN rejected it. Furthermore,.. More
Please reply to the question according to the Hanafi school of thought. If a person says, "If I am not speaking the truth, then I am not a muslim." and he lied, then will he be excluded from the religion of Islam? If he were to be excluded from the religion of Islam, then what would happen to his marriage with his wife?

Assalaamu alaykum. I have a question that is seriously bothering me. Some Islam-hating Christians quote some verses from the Holy Qur'an and say that these verses say that Allaah deceives people (Allaah forbid). I know that their argument is extremely weak. The verses that they quote are these: "And the unbelievers schemed [against Jesus]; but God brought.. More
Assalaamu alaykum. I have seen your links, but my question remains: if you consider somebody who ascribes himself to Islam as a disbeliever but you do not show it outwardly for any reason (for example: shyness, amicable atmosphere at that moment, you like that person, you want him to be pleased with you, and so on). What is the ruling thereof? Is that.. More
Assalaamu alaykum. Some Salafi student of knowledge said that you cannot affirm or deny anything about Allaah that He or the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, have not affirmed or denied.
