Why doing good would be difficult near the end of time

Imaam Abu Haneefah believed that the Quran is not created

But what is the ruling on saying that one does not know whether it is created or not and declining to investigate or make a decision on the matter? Please reply to the question according to the Hanafi school of thought. If a person says, "If I am not speaking the truth, then I am not a muslim." and he lied, then will he be excluded from the religion of Islam?
