Gifting the reward of a good deed to several persons
Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu Excuse my inorance but wanted to ask: If I gift the reward of my recitation of the quran to only 1 person vs many people, is there a difference in the thawab? Does my thawab on 1 person diminish when I spread the dedication to 1 plus many others?

What should they do with the money they collected for their deceased colleague?
We are a group of employees. We had a colleague who worked with us but he died, may Allaah The Almighty Have mercy upon him. We collected a sum of money for him.
