Setting up a funeral fund in the mosque
assalam alikum. our local mosque is setting up a janza fund, to pay for any muslim who dies. is this right? my understanding it is the responsibilty of the family to provide the funds. also in uk if a person cannot afford a funeral the government provides funds. my view is money should go to the living who are suffering. thank you for your helpd.. The reward of Waqf built on behalf of a dead person
Salaam Alailukn, Sir, can a mosque, well, or orphanage be made on other's name or on their behalf like parents, brothers etc. Is it also true that the reward (if made on their respected names) of constructing these wells or mosque will be entirely delivered to those on whom they were named. What is the significance of rain in Islam? When my father passed away, it rained when they placed his body in the van to take him to the masjid for the janazah prayers.
