All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
In principle it is forbidden to pierce any part of the body as this is causing pain to it without any necessity. However, some scholars permitted piercing the ear and nose, as needed, for beautification, provided that some requirements are met.

However, the ruling of piercing parts of the body other than the ear and nose remains on its principle (forbidden) even if the husband gives permission to his wife to this effect or instructs her to do so.
