There is no harm in using this verse as evidence on a context which is similar to the situation in which it is said. This is considered as extracting some texts from the Quran and applying them on a context which is similar to it. Ibn ‘Aqeel was asked about extracting some verses from the Quran and stating them at the end of a lecture. He said: 'There is no harm in using the verses of the Quran in contexts which are similar to the context of the Quran, as a way of seeking the eloquence of speech.'
Allaah Knows best.
