Studying Psychology in the UK

Question:

I am living in the UK with my family. I care about my religion a lot, and I would like to ask you if studying Psychology will affect my faith in any way?

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

 

There is no objection to your studying psychology provided it does not teach anything that contradicts Islamic Shariah.

As for the impact of this human science on the faith and creed of the person, this differs from one person to the other and also depends on the material being taught, and the misconceptions it could cause.
