Reciting Qur'an after Al-Fatihah in Sunnah prayers

Question:

When we do the Sunnah Salat before the Fard (eg. 4 before Zuhr), do we have to say Surahs after the Surah 'Fatihah' and if we do, do we do it for every Rak'ah.

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. It is Sunnah to recite a Surah with Al-Fatihah in the first two Raka'as of the four and three Raka'a prayers as well as in Fajr and the Nawafil (supererogatory prayers). Allah knows best.
