Question:
I finished school and now I want to complete studying in the feild of loss adjusting, but I am a bit concerned about the ruling of this job. The job of a loss adjuster is to be the judge between two parties (company and client) in case of loss and conflicts between the two parties, and that instead of going in each time to the court, and for more information a lot of our cases come from the court. My only big concern is that in a lot of these cases insurance companies involve. Please answer my question so I can start thinking about career life in a better way, and thank you.
Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
There is no harm to specialize in this field as long as your intention is to stand with the right and ward off the wrong according to the Sharee'ah. Whenever an issue is brought to you, you should judge it according to the Sharee'ah. Those who accept your rulings are rewarded for that and those who refuse them will be punished for that. And you do not commit a sin as long as you do not help in a sin and falsehood or support a wrong thing.
Allah knows best.
