Giving Zakah for one to marry

Question:

Can I give Zakah to a young person who wants to marry?

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

There is no harm in giving Zakah to a young man who cannot afford to marry. The one who is incapable to bear the expenses of his marriage is needy; and a needy is among those who are entitled to receive Zakah money.
