Eating and drinking after intercourse

Question:

After intercourse can a person eat and drink before taking a bath? We were taught not to even touch any utensils as that person is impure in this state, is this correct?

Eating, drinking, sleeping, and other normal activities are permissible before taking a ritual bath.For more details please read Fatwa: 82829.
