Rights of the wife from the People of the Book

What are women's rights?

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
As for rights that are peculiar to the wife from the People of the Book, she should be given the freedom to perform her prayer in her house and direct herself towards Jerusalem or elsewhere, and she should be given the freedom to perform her fasting as she believes.
