Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
We wished you had explained to us the kind of activities you saw people performing so that we could give you a Fatwa about such activities. But we have come to know that some of the people you mentioned practise various kinds of charlatanism and myths. They make dancing ceremonies repeating innovated forms of supplication. If this is the case, the Muslim should not mix with them as he is asked to follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah and to know that his alliance and amity should be restricted to good pious Muslims who stick firmly to the Sunnah and avoid completely the Bidah (innovations in Islam). If the Muslim doubts any form of Dhikr or deed, he should ask the scholars of Islam to get the right and appropriate answer about its rule.
Allah knows best.
