All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
The Hadeeth you asked about was narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurayrah . In the Hadeeth the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam , stated that Allaah The Almighty will extend the shade of His Throne over seven types of people and grant them His protection on the Day of Resurrection, when the sun would be very close and people would be hot and terrified.
These seven types of people are: a just ruler; a youth who has been brought up to worship Allaah (i.e. who worships Allaah sincerely from childhood); a man whose heart is attached to the mosque (i.e. he prays the compulsory prayers in the mosque) and is keen on prayer in congregation; two people who love each other only for the sake of Allaah The Almighty and they meet and part only in the cause of Allaah The Exalted; a man who refuses the calls of a charming woman of a good status for adultery saying, ‘I fear Allaah’; a man who gives out charity in secret; and a person who remembers Allaah The Almighty in seclusion and his eyes flood with tears in awe of Allaah The Almighty.
Allaah Knows best.
