All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
A woman should lower her gaze at what Allah forbade her from looking at, as is the case for men. This is in compliance with the saying of Allah, the Almighty: {Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is [fully] Aware of what they do.} [Quran 24: 30] {And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision1 and guard their private parts} [Quran 24: 31]
It is not permissible to look at the shape of ‘Awrah (private parts) of a person shown by clothes, even without a sexual desire.
It was stated in Rad Al-Muhtar by Ibn `Aabidin : “It is not lawful to look at a person’s private parts which are defined by clothes attached to them and showing their size.” [End quote]
Allah knows best.
