Surgery to treat gynecomastia

Question:

Is one allowed to have surgery for gynecomatsia?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

If the surgery is to fix a flaw or to remove a deformity, then it is allowed, but if it is to increase beauty, then it is not allowed. For more benefit, please refer to fatwa 90335.
