All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
Going to a soothsayer is prohibited and it is a great wrongdoing and a sinful act, for the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, was reported to have said that anyone who goes to a soothsayer and believes him has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. [At-Tirmithi]
You must repent from this sin and supplicate to Allaah the Almighty for forgiveness. Moreover, you must not take notice of what this deceitful soothsayer said, for you are ordered by the Sharee‘ah to disbelieve in it.
You should also be aware that if you depend on what she says, Allaah the Almighty will leave your being relieved to her, and He will deprive you of His guidance, care and success. It is narrated that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said that anyone who resorts to other than Allaah (for help), He will pin his matter to that which he resorted to, and that the person does not get what they wish for. [Ahmad]
We supplicate to Allaah the Almighty to provide you with a good husband, and give you satisfaction through lawful means.
Allaah Knows best.
