All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
The book entitled Al-Hisn Al-Haseen Min Kalaam Sayyid Al-Mursaleen, compiled by Ibn Al-Jazari Shamsuddeen Abul Khayr Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Ali Ad-Dimashqi, who died in 833 AH is considered as one of the beneficial books of Athkaar (legislated mention of Allaah); but it remains a human work that is not free from matters whose chain of narrators is not authentic, and issues which are not correct, like saying that there is a virtue in supplicating at the graves of righteous people and the like.
A group of scholars explained this book, and perhaps the most well-known explanation of it is the book entitled Tuhfat Ath-Thaakireen Bi’iddat Al-Hisn Al-Haseen, written by Imaam Ash-Shawkaani .
Allaah Knows best.
