All perfect praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
It is incumbent upon such girls to refrain from appearing before their brothers while they are wearing indecent clothes that reveal their ‘Awrah (what should be covered of the body) and cause temptation. It is a type of corruption between kinsfolk, which could lead to evil consequences. On the other hand, males are required to lower their gaze and avoid what instigates desires and leads to temptation. Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said, "The scholars have agreed that it is prohibited to lustfully look at a non-mahram (permanently unmarriageable) women as well as a mahram woman."
