All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
There are certain conditions for Ruqyah against ailments and the evil eye that must be met in order for it to be accepted. For example, it should be recited in Arabic, and should be from the Quran and Sunnah. Moreover, both the person who performs Ruqyah and the one for whom it is performed must believe that it would not be of benefit except with the Will of Allaah The Almighty. Please see Fatwa 82355 for more details.
