All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
We did not find any text supporting this meaning in the authentic Hadeeth books we have at hand. Moreover, this Hadeeth includes an unacceptable meaning, which is that each of the two persons knows what is in the heart of the other. This pertains to the matters of the unseen that only Allaah Knows. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {Say, "None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allaah."}[Quran 27:65] Allaah The Almighty also Says through the words of the Prophet ‘Eesa (Jesus) (what means): {You Know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You Who Is Knower of the unseen.}[Quran 5:116]
Finally, we alert you that it is not permissible for the Muslim to circulate a Hadeeth whose authenticity is not proven. It was narrated on the authority of Al-Mugheerah ibn Shu’bah that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: “Whoever conveys a Hadeeth from me which he deems false is one of the liars.” [Muslim] He also said: “It is enough as a lie that a person relates everything he hears.” [Muslim]
