All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
We do not see any objection for reciting the Quran in a public place or in a noisy school. However, a person who recites the Quran should respect the etiquettes of the recitation of the Quran.
Among these etiquettes is to ponder about the meaning and achieve humbleness and not preoccupy one's hearing or sight with other things.
Undoubtedly, if a person is in a noisy school where the boys scream and shout, the extent of achieving humbleness and pondering over the Quran will be limited.
Nonetheless, engaging in the recitation of the Quran is something desirable in any case, especially when the purpose is to avoid indulging in an improper conduct.
